Welcome to the
Park Hill Parade!

This community-friendly event will again be marching along 23rd Avenue on Thursday, July 4th, 2024.

Stretching from Dexter St. to Krameria St., this year’s parade will include more than 50 groups, including floats, marching bands, costumed characters, classic cars, and more!

The Park Hill Parade starts at 1:30 p.m. on Thursday, July 4th, 2024. The parade is held in northeast Denver’s historic Park Hill neighborhood, one of the city’s largest, oldest, and most diverse areas.

Park Hill is bordered by Colorado Blvd. to the west, Colfax Ave. to the south, Quebec St. to the east and I-70 to the north. You can approach the parade route from any of these directions:

  • From I-70: exit at either Colorado Blvd. or Quebec St. and head south towards 23rd Ave.
  • From south: head north on Colorado Blvd. or Quebec St. towards 23rd Ave.
  • From east or west: the best approaches to the parade route will be on 26th Ave. or Montview Blvd.

The parade runs along 23rd Ave. for approximately one mile from Dexter St. to Krameria St. Viewing areas are available along the entire route on both the north and south sides of 23rd Ave. You’re encouraged to get there early to set up blankets and chairs and settle in for the fun!

Parking is widely available on side streets all along the parade route. 23rd Ave. will be closed during the parade and can’t be crossed.

Staging will begin at 12:30 p.m. at 23rd and Dexter. Please send one representative of your group to the registration desk there to receive your registration packet and further instructions.
